Looking for a job can feel overwhelming, but working with a staffing agency makes the process easier and faster. If you're considering applying through a staffing agency, you might be wondering: "What do I need to do to get hired?"
Here’s everything you need to know about our hiring process and what it takes to land a great job through us.
Step 1: Application & Resume Submission 💻📍
Your journey starts with an application. You can apply online here or visit any of our four locations to complete the process in person ➡️ FIND THE CLOSEST ONE TO YOU HERE 🔗
Having an up-to-date resume that highlights your skills, and experience will help us match you with the best job opportunities.
BUT –
It is NOT required! We are able to create a polished resume for you after we complete the interview process.
Step 2: In-Person Interview 🤝
Once we receive your application, we schedule an in-person interview. This is a crucial step where we learn more about your work history, skills, and job preferences. Be prepared to answer questions about:
- Your previous employment and responsibilities
- The skills you’ve gained from past jobs
- Your availability and shift preferences
Step 3: Employment Verification (E-Verify) 📑
To ensure compliance with federal laws, we verify every applicant’s work authorization using the E-Verify system. This step confirms that you are legally eligible to work in the United States.
You will need to bring TWO forms of identification with you to your interview to complete this process!
Examples of accepted forms of ID (any two):
- Driver’s License or ID card issued by a U.S. state or outlying territory (must have a photo or identifying information)
- School ID with a photograph
- Voter Registration Card
- U.S. Military Card or Draft Record
- Military Dependent’s ID Card
- Native American Tribal Document
- Driver’s License issued by a Canadian government authority (for certain employees only)
- Social Security Card (unrestricted; must not be marked “NOT VALID FOR EMPLOYMENT”)
- Original or certified copy of a birth certificate issued by a U.S. state, county, municipal authority, or outlying territory
- Consular Report of Birth Abroad (Form FS-240)
- Certification of Birth Abroad issued by the U.S. Department of State (Form FS-545 or DS-1350)
Step 4: Background Check 🔎
Many employers require a background check before placement. We conduct thorough screenings to ensure that candidates meet our clients’ standards. Having a clean record can improve your chances of getting hired, but certain positions may allow some flexibility depending on the client’s requirements.
Step 5: 5-Panel Drug Screening 🧪
Workplace safety is a top priority, which is why we require all applicants to pass a 5-panel drug test before being placed in a position. This screening helps maintain a safe and productive work environment for everyone.
If you have prescribed medication that may require you to fail, we do have an alternative process.
Step 6: Job Placement ✅
Once you’ve completed all screening steps, we match you with available jobs that fit your skills, experience, and work preferences.
Depending on demand, you could be placed in a job right away or be added to our candidate pool for future openings.
